Project Summary
Repairs and Renovations - Approximately $71.5 Million for Repairs and Renovations. Renovate existing spaces to address and improve life/safety issues, educational adequacy, improved learning environments, technology, and energy efficiency
MEP (Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing) - Utilities to the building, behind the walls, under the slabs, on top of the roofs, into the classroom.
ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) - Accessibility work – ramps, doors, and elevators.
Site Work - Work to correct drainage, parking and traffic problems.
Other - Includes costs for demolition, removal of portables etc.
New Additions - Approximately $45.5 Million for new construction – all on existing campus sites. Includes new science labs, CATE classes, and administrative offices for Central High School. Other campuses mostly address permanent use of portables.
